Cars/Ratatouille Blu-ray Launch Party

This “combo” media event was staged in two adjoining nightclubs in Hollywood to highlight the bonus features on the CARS and RATATOUILLE Blu-ray discs for bloggers and print and electronic media.  Guests entered Social Hollywood for a pre-cocktail reception/holding area, where they were treated to a CARS themed environment featuring roller-skating car hop cocktail waitresses and race-themed video games.  In a stunning transition to the RATATOUILLE party next door, the USC marching band and famed chef Michel Richard ushered guests into a gastronomical wonderland in a scripted moment.  The RATATOUILLE party featured a DJ spinning French inspired dance music, along with a stunning array of buffets, gourmet cheese stations and wine tasting bars, under a towering replica of the Eiffel Tower.  The centerpiece of the outdoor area was a giant custom cheese sculpture of the film’s star, Remy.
