Wizard of Oz 75th Anniversary
To celebrate the 75th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz in IMAX, Paradigm Shift created a spectacular world premiere event at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Hundreds of fans lined the street to catch a glimpse of the celebrities as they arrived with their children. The pre-party featured scores of games, activities and sweets for 400 VIP guests, all in a rainbow filled, Emerald City inspired environment. Madame Tussaud's unveiled their new Dorothy wax figure, the Pentatonix performed "Over the Rainbow" and one of the last surviving "Munchkins" received a standing ovation at the 900 person screening.
300 Extravaganza at Comic-Con
300 was a big movie and Paradigm Shift Worldwide designed and executed an ENORMOUS launch for the title, creating a spectacular event that transformed Petco Park in San Diego into an ancient "Spartan" dream world. The VIP event for 600 guests was preceded by a screening for 10,000 fans in the stadium. Following the screening, guests traveled down the red carpet and were greeted by live Spartans lining the entrance. The event featured a live DJ, food, specialty lighting, props and costumes from the film. It was the hit of Comic-Con.
amazon.com Toy Quest Event in New York City
To officially launch the amazon.com Toy Store, Paradigm Shift Worldwide designed and produced a highly interactive activation surrounding a nationwide search for “the toy inventors of tomorrow,” dubbed amazon.com ToyQuest. PSWW transformed a NYC venue into a wonderland of sight, sound and motion...featuring live entertainment, custom games and live judging of inventions. The top 40 finalists, flown in from around the country, were greeted by a live marching band and ushered into the venue. amazon.com CEO Jeff Bezos and famed skater Katarina Witt were among the celebrity judges that were welcomed to the event via a giant slide, built into the main stage.
Winnie the Pooh Event at the United Nations
Winnie the Pooh was honored on the plaza of the United Nations, designating the beloved Disney character as the "Worldwide Ambassador of Friendship." PSWW re-imagined the “Hundred Acre Wood” by creating a giant map housing a wide variety of interactive activities for attendees, who had their "Pooh Passport" stamped as they made their journey through the wood. UN Delegates, celebrities and VIP's were in attendance and were treated to the film's world premiere within the UN facility.
Beauty & the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
One of PSWW's all-time favorites, this stunningly magical event served as the world premiere of the film in Los Angeles. Special guests arrived via horse-drawn carriage to the winter-themed red carpet, followed by the premiere screening. The after party was truly enchanting, as PSWW created a highly animated tented environment, featuring interactive games, talking inanimate objects (via custom puppet technology), character appearances, and a lavish holiday buffet. The highlight of the evening was a dance by Belle and the Beast, in our re-creation of the famed ballroom which served as the centerpiece of the overall design.
